The Transport Section of Furia srl, was established with the company in the 1930s operating mainly in the building and construction industry. In the 1980s, with the establishment of the “ecology” section, it was authorised to transport waste for subsequent disposal. In 1998, the company enrolled in the current National Register of Companies Performing Waste Management for the categories of transport of hazardous and non-hazardous waste on behalf of third parties.
At present, the company ‘ s capacities for transport services are:
- transport of hazardous special waste ( authorised quantity from 60,000 to 200,000 tonnes/year) and non-hazardous special waste ( authorised quantity from 60,000 to 200,000 tonnes/year);
- transport of municipal and similar waste raw materials, goods, machinery and equipment.
The company Furia srl transports goods on behalf of third parties (Law No. 298 of 6 June 1974 as amended). For this type of activity, the company is registered in the TRANSPORTERS ‘ REGISTER (Ministry of Transport and Navigation) under number PC/4355140/J
The transport of waste constitutes a prevalent activity for Furia s.r.l. regulated by D.Lgs. 152/06.
Therefore, the company is also registered with the National Register of Environmental Managers Section Detachment of Bologna (Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea), for categories 1 D – 4 B – 5 B, at BO 01357 .
